Thanks for  watching!

Tap, tap, tap, what are we to do when friends and relatives speak a litany of illnesses and tests?  Yes, exactly that, tap, tap, tap on those Chinese acupuncture points as you listen with your whole heart and soul and every ounce of your spirit.

No lengthy comments are needed.  Just do an active listening murmur every so often, “Ahh ha,” or “I hear you,” or even “What a pity.”

Compassion is great and highly recommended.  Beware, however, you do not need to take on that person’s complaint or illness or allow your empathy to run wild.  Use energy mathematics and tap while hearing the list of malaise.  Know that tapping keeps your own cortisol level lower and so you feel free to listen, without a reaction, without taking on that person’s emotional state.  And, great news, listening has not been called a source of contagion!

Also, why not do energy preventive measures?  If you know each day you call them with a sincere wish to send that person love and concern, then prepare yourself.  Keep yourself centered and grounded.

Centering may be as easy as raising your arms high over head and bringing them down and around your body to visualize your arms resting securely in the deep earth.  And visualize a white light, or whatever color you may feel safe in, around your entire body.   That protective bubble exists all day and all night.  Know and visualize that any negative words or thoughts or feelings from another will be blocked.  Those negativities will be bounced right back to the sender tout de suite.

Enjoy your listening skills that will become stronger and stronger with this practice.

Thank you, Gandhi!
“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”

Thank you, Mahatma Gandhi.

What are some things I be the change for better in this world?

People complaining about illness all the time.

People who feel once they become 40, or 50, or 60 or 70 or 80, life is over and not much remains to be enjoyed.

Babies who are not loved and touched kindly and affectionately.

Adults who are not loved and touched kindly and affectionately.

People who fear other nationalities or credes.

Here are some potential solutions:

I plan to keep discomfort and bitching and gossiping to a minimum. I’ll tap while complaining or bitching and fill myself energetically with relief, peace, and joy.

I plan to keep active and energetic by doing some exercise each day and volunteering for as long as possible.

I plan to keep teaching workshops on tapping so each adult knows of self love; foster love, kindness, and affection to rule in each energetic being.

I’ll encourage and spend time and money on movies and tv shows that focus on cooperation between nationalities

Tell me:

What change do you feel you can be that will improve what you see happening in this world of ours?

Tapping today with friends at Ukraine Window on America English Club.  We discussed anger and its forms.  We also discussed where anger appears in our bodies.  Also how do we know we are angry?  Especially since we are told by our parents and our teachers and our religious leaders as children that anger is not appropriate, how do we know we are angry?

And, consider, do we want to reach our death beds with all of these angers remaining blocked in our energetic and physical systems?  Especially since you know tapping can help lessen both the intesity and the prolonged duration of anger, why not try it?  Tapping works even if you do not believe in it.

And once we know we are angry, how may we open up any blockages in our body and mind and soul that are frozen in anger?

How do we find where we have “stuffed that anger?”

LISTEN:

Anger could be hidden behind your words such as “irritation” or “frustration” or “annoyance” or even “my pet peeve.”  When you say, “I feel annoyed…..,” pay attention and see what you are experiencing in your body and mind.  Write down any such annoyances or irritations in a small notebook and tap on them when you have time.

So today listen to yourself.

FEEL:

Anger may be hidden behind some pain or discomfort in your body.  Scan your body now.  Is there discomfort or pain?  Rate how high it is now on a scale of “0” bein no pain, to “10” being an excruciating pain that will not lessen.

Write the level of pain down in your notebook.  Then, tap fully on the discomfort or pain.  Tap to lessen that pain or discomfort to a “0” or a “1.”  Be aware that other stories might come up as you tap.  Write these stories down for a later tapping session.

As always, we may do tapping secretly, so no one near us knows what we are doing.  Tapping will still help us lessen that anger that is showing up.  And tapping is very efective at lessening that pain or discomfort we feel n our bodies.

SUGGESTION:  In the evening before sleep, take a few minutes to think of anything or any body who annoyed you today.  Tap to lessen that sense of annoyance or irritation.

In the morning, what is on your mind as you first wake up?  If any annoyance or irritation at something or some body appears, then tap for a minute or two so you can lessen that impact.

Tell me how you feel and if your sense of anger/irritation/annoyance/frustration/pet peeve have been lowered?

Wow, I know in working with tapping of your Chinese acupuncture points, there is much to be gained by looking at all modalities. What color is this? What shape? What does this problem remind you of?

And, to be gaining more knowledge about a person’s concern or problem, I often ask about what songs a person hears while tapping or while remembering their younger days.

Guess my surprise? This morning I woke and am doing the Donna Eden energy exercises (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gffKhttrRw4 if you haven’t learned them yet). when I listen to myself and hear the song I am singing with gusto during these energy exercises.

It is the song called, “Que Sera Sera,” and made famous by Doris Day. It is a sugary song; a song that indicates that life brings you whatever and that “whatever” is totally outside of your control. This song fails to be a good example of people taking any responsibility for their lives. Instead, this song admits that “What will be, will be,” and we as humans have no input into our lives.

What a funny and yet worthwile revelation to me of that inner dialogue shown in songs I sing. The song is totally at odds with all I profess and have come to beleive over the years. I know I DO change what happens in my life; I know how my heart’s messages get transmitted so easily and broadly.

So, listen to your songs that you hum as you tap or even that you sing or hum as you go about your day…

What do your songs reveal? Are they songs that show the real you? Are they songs that you might want to tap on for some relief from old beliefs?

All the BEST! Tell me if you are listening now to your own song or to a song that needs updating to the real YOU?

Ahh, tapping makes one so aware of how I feel and also how I are relating to other people.  So, an ahh-haa moment from a recent tapping episode about an irritation I had had:

Wait!  I am affecting how others talk and relate to me and even feel about me.  If I want to improve this, I am the main mover who can work on changing this.

So, instead of showing and sending angry or irritated or critical thoughts out, I concentrate on sending out thoughts and feelings like these:

WE are safe;

WE are accepted;

WE are free of fear;

WE are love;

We are unconditionally loved.

Already i feel that lightness in my body that says this works.   It amazes me even more when I am holding hands with someone and I do the same thing, POWERFUL!  I know I work on my own issues with tapping of Chinese acupuncture points, yet what a joy to know my vibrational messages can and do make a difference.

Please tell me if you have this feeling also?

Now, how to make this accomplish more and do more for all people in the world whether Protestant or Muslim or Jewish or Catholic or Buddhist or Agnostic or Atheist or ?

Recently I had visited Ukraine again with my partner. We flew in during the week September 11 to September 18th. It was an interesting trip. So now that we have delivered your Letter of Hope to our friends in Peace Corps and our friends in Vinnytsia, I feel I must express my feelings.

It was my first experience in traveling to a war-torn country, and I admit I was not sure what to expect. I enrolled with both the UK and US Embassies to let them know where we would be staying. Yet also I concentrated on sending love to all parties involved, and most especially sent healing energy to friends we had made. There were many sensation that arose. We continued to act as if all was well, and on the surface, all appeared to be. We experienced several closed places in public transportation, but nothing like those disruptions that Ukrainians in the eastern areas were experiencing.

So, people keep asking, “What was it like? How are people handing this?”

My answer upon reflection:

I sense Ukrainians are depressed, suffering with the pain of loss. This loss is like losing a sibling to death. Compare it to losing a favorite older brother or sister who dies unexpectedly. The loss involves so much more than what is revealed in the factoids covered in newspapers.

You, the surviving sibling ask, “Why is this happening? Why are unprovoked hostilities breaking out when we have done nothing to upset? We used to feel taken care of by Russia. Now, we are attacked and Russia is killing off its own family, its own brothers and sisters. What is this and please, we are fearful, how will it all end? We watch and see soldiers returning to the hospital seriously wounded, and this is during a cease-fire time. How can we go on? What does all of this mean? What will happen now to the rest of my family?”

Waves of grief overcome the Ukrainians as they contemplate and wonder. All those years of Russia watching out for the younger sibling, Ukraine, where has that family feeling gone to now?. Waves of grief and waves of understanding a new reality: yes, Ukraine is a country and yes, patriotism is needed at a time like this. No longer can we hide our heads and say, “Let them take care of it.” Ukrainians are now becoming responsible, no longer feeling the older brother will take charge and they can just sit and watch and feel entitled.

I continue to send love and thoughts of energetic healing to all, the Ukrainians as well as the Russians so this family of man sees how it is all connected. I ask that all appreciate their history, feel the joy it brings to be part of a family, yet also remain aware that change is what moves our whole system, whether physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual. Those people/things/organizations that do not change and grow, they die off. Those people/ things/organizations willing to learn and work at improvements for all people, those people/things/organizations will grown and be healthy and prosper.

All love and laughter and health to you!

Because of tapping on a daily basis and becoming so much more aware of my own body and its joys and discomforts and feelings, I had a brilliant idea.

Experts say to “Create your day in advance.”  I had been doing that for many years.  Before attending and graduating from law school, I made sure that I created the room and the time and the intent for success.  I had also written a list of goals that probably were like a bucket list.

And after mulling over and reading Gretchen Rubin’s The Happiness Project, I felt I was able to feel what is more ME. How am I to expereince and see life and relationships in a more fruitful and relaxed way, and also a way that is my unique way of seeing the world?  For example, I happen to LOVE taking notes.  Rubin mentions that as one of her fond things to do.  I also find it relaxing and even focusing and increasinng my creativity.

What else?  I find my drawing and gardening so ME;  I return back from a workshop and that is all I feel like doing, sit and draw or paint or weed or plant……  Those two activities bring me back to being the unqie person I am meant to be…..and they give me back a happy spirit that emerges even after helping clients with their woes of life.

Yet it was an AHH, AHH moment when I realized:  No more To-Do list, but instead concentrate of my To-Feel List.  I plan to feel good and happy.  I intend now to have more time focused on the things that are unqiuely my spirit and loves.  So, call Regina, YES!  Grab the protractor and draw a new geometric design, YES!  Hug my partner, YES!  Call my children and rejoice in their voices, YES!

And after a week of concentrating more on my feelings, guess what?  I can tell my whole body is saying, “Good deal!  Way to go woman!  Enjoy your uniquess for all it offers!

I dare you, doctors of all kinds!

I dare you to breakaway from that TV set in your waiting room.

I dare you to encourage wellness.

I dare you to stop advertising sickness and pills and drama and all that goes with it.

Suggestion: REPLACE all of the pharmaceutical videos and supposed “health” infomercials with videos.

Yes, with videos, and what about comedies? How about you start with a Laurel and Hardy short video? Let that play for one week and see the difference in your office environment.

See how people respond when the nurse asks them, “How are you?”

See how your staff responds after one week of a lighter feeling pervading the space.

See some smiles around the office? Maybe you’ll start to see some lightness of heart in your staffs? Maybe even you will feel more like talking and laughing and sharing what is going on in your own world?

I subscribe to OPRAH magazine. Why do I subscribe? I like several of the authors who write for OPRAH and feel a monthly jolt of their positive energies will keep me and those people I gift the magazine to in better balance.

This month, September, 2013, I read with anticipation a wonderful article called, “What Makes You Tick,” under a monthly column written by Martha Beck, “May We Help You?” The summary encourages us to read it by saying that Martha Beck will describe how to defuse “explosive situations.” In addition, she will enable us to “Revisit emotional triggers of the past.” p. 44.

Beck uses the language of war. It appears that we all have had social minefields, “created whenever we ground our actions in some form of fear.” P. 45. Then emotional triggers are set up for us to relive and re-engage our emotions as if still living through the original “trauma-drama.” Whatever and however created, we continue to visit these minefields over and over in our lives. We are triggered by people or events and end up right back in the minefield.

Martha Beck describes a beginning method to alleviate these drama-trauma and excessive intensities by use of her three-step system called “RAT.” First, she suggests you begin to Recognize when we are in the throes of an emotional trigger. Then she says to analyze: feelings before, what is associated with that feeling, when begin, and especially, “Do I want to keep on re-creating that trauma?’ And lastly, as point three, use Beck’s system called ‘Tranquil Eyes” to make your reaction less explosive and even create fewer trauma-dramas.

EEKS, not enough! EEKS, not fast enough! I actually spoke out, “Why did you stop there?”

Here is where I suggest Martha Beck truly help people to lessen emotional intensity around these minefields. I am aghast to see that tapping/EFT [Emotional Freedom Technique; see http://www.eftuniverse.com] was not properly cited as a method to calm and release the intensity around these minefields. Tapping is a method that uses our own physical bodies to release the energy blockages that have occurred around the emotional minefield.

Understandably a system so easy to learn and also to teach and write about would help any of her readers immensely. Please, Martha Beck, do know that what you gave was, in my opinion, misleading. When there are methods such as tapping these Chinese acupuncture points for stress relief, why are you neglecting to educate?

Life will go on, yet my reaction to this article is an important sign to me.

I plan to spread the message about tapping/EFT even more strongly in this blog. Here an accepted and acknowledged expert in the helping field leaves a large reading public in the dark about the best and quickest way to defuse these emotional traumas and minefields. Why did she fail to help more people in such an open forum?

Please, any readers of this blog, go over to the http://www.eftuniverse.com and watch free videos and subscribe to the free manual to learn how to successfully work with these emotional triggers. There are also practitioners listed all across the world. And there are classes for you to attend and learn more of this system being used more extensively to lessen both emotional and physical pain. You do NOT have to continue re-living and carrying around in your energetic system these old drama-traumas the rest of your life.
